Trieu has been coaching club volleyball since 2005 and for Encore since 2016
Assisted a 15u Encore team in 2016-17 that received an open bid to GJNC's
In 2017-18, Trieu assisted a 15u Encore team that received a USA bid to GJNC's
Trieu’s first experience playing volleyball was for Livermore High School in 2001 and ever since then he has participated in adult leagues around the Bay Area
